mylife OmniPod - Important Information
Ypsomed [AG] has been marketing, distributing, and selling the mylife™ OmniPod® Insulin Management System in [your country] since 2010. On 21 July 2017, we announced in a press release that the manufacturer of the Omnipod® System, Insulet Corporation, will take over the marketing, sales, and distribution of the Omnipod® System, including all associated customer service activities, from Ypsomed as of 1 July 2018. Further details regarding this transition are provided below.
Takeover of marketing, sales, distribution, and customer service
Ypsomed [AG] will continue to provide service and customer care for the mylife™ OmniPod® System in [your country] until 30 June 2018. The contact information for all your product support needs at Ypsomed [AG] will remain the same through that date.
From 1 July 2018, Insulet will assume all responsibility for the marketing, sales, distribution, and associated customer service activities for the Omnipod® System. You will receive a new Omnipod® package design and an article number which will be communicated to you by Insulet.
The Ypsomed mylife™ Software will remain available to users after 30 June 2018.
