We continue our podcast series with some insights about growing up with diabetes as a child: Miss Khyati Kurana was diagnosed when she was only one year old. After living a few years with diabetes, she realised that she was being treated differently. She was restricted to eat snacks and other foods that the other kids consumed. Khyati Khurana is a 15-year-old young, dynamic, passionate and ambitious girl who has been living with type 1 diabetes for 14 years. Thanks to her mother and her father, she has accepted her life with type 1 diabetes and strenghtened her self-confidence and her positive attitude. Thanks to the mylife YpsoPump and her good friend, Anil, she is constantly working on changing the perspective of living with type 1 diabetes. She has suffered a lot and in this episode, she talks about her experiences and her future – she wants to become a dietitian and help people living with diabetes with empathy and kindness.
