Are you currently using an Accu-Chek Insight insulin pump?
Due to the recent MHRA report relating to the Roche Accu-Chek Insight insulin pump, we believe that a number of users will be interested in switching their system, and will be faced with the choice of where to go next. With this decision in mind, we wanted to highlight the features and benefits of the mylife YpsoPump. As established partners of the NHS, we have been able to remove any barriers associated with switching your pump out mid warranty.
How the mylife YpsoPump is similar to what Accu-Chek Insight insulin pump users are used to:
- The mylife YpsoPump is compatible with the pre-filled cartridge that you are used to, and therefore, you can benefit from the familiarity and ease of use1 of this cartridge system.
- If you do not wish to use the pre-filled cartridge, then we also offer self-fillable reservoirs for the insulin of your choice.
- The mylife YpsoPump is simply discreet1. The small and lightweight device adapts perfectly to the daily routine of your life.

Pre-filled cartridges
The mylife YpsoPump works with pre-filled cartridges. This saves the time of filling cartridges yourself and the hassle of trying to prevent air bubbles. Ready to use, quick and easy to replace. Moreover, it is also possible to fill ampoules yourself.

Discreet bolus delivery from your smartphone
Deliver a bolus without touching your insulin pump. Simply calculate your bolus suggestion in the mylife App using the bolus suggestion calculator, and press “Deliver”. This feature called mylife Dose is expected in the second half of 2022, but do not let this stop you from choosing the mylife YpsoPump as today. We guarantee that you will have all these powerful innovations at your disposal as soon as the new features are available, just simply update your mylife App.
Automated insulin delivery – if you want it
The mylife YpsoPump insulin pump can be used in an automated insulin delivery system in combination with the mylife CamAPS FX app and Dexcom G6 Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) System. In auto mode, insulin delivery is automatically regulated by an algorithm.
mylife App - the all in one app
The mylife YpsoPump works with the free, user-friendly mylife App on your smartphone through a Bluetooth® connection. The app is the heart of your system: whether you want to view therapy data from your pump, check the glucose values sent by the Dexcom G6 Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) System, create overviews, or calculate a bolus suggestion and deliver it remotely - you can do it all, with just one app.
Flexibility in measuring blood glucose levels
You can measure your blood glucose in a way that suits you best. Whether you use flash glucose measurement (FGM), continuous glucose measurement (CGM) or a blood glucose meter such as the mylife Unio Neva, the data either is automatically transferred to the mylife App or it can be entered manually, depending on the measurement system used.
360 degree mobility
The accompanying infusion set, the mylife YpsoPump Orbit, can rotate 360 degrees. This means you do not need to worry as much about the tube kinking and stopping the insulin delivery. It also gives you more flexibility in choosing an administration point. The unique adapter also means you do not need to change the infusion set every time you change an insulin cartridge.
Having the flexibility of the mylife YpsoPump and being able to bolus so quickly and so discreetly is a great benefit to me.
