Addressing the utmost challenge for woman living with T1D: insights from the AiDAPT AID pregnancy trial
Women with type 1 diabetes who wish to become mother should plan their pregnancy with their diabetes care and obstetric teams. Better glycaemic control at conception and throughout the pregnancy have been associated with lower risk for obstetric and neonatal complications, such as large for gestational age (LGA), admission to neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), preterm live birth and perinatal death. mylife CamAPS FX automated insulin delivery (AID) system may support woman achieving these challenging glycaemic targets while planning for pregnancy and throughout their pregnancy.

The symposium is chaired by Dr Helen Murphy
Prof. Helen Murphy is a Professor of Medicine (Diabetes and Antenatal Care) at the University of East Anglia, and a practicing clinician (Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital NHS Trust since 2015, Cambridge University NHS Foundation Trust since 2006).
She serves as clinical lead for the National Pregnancy in Diabetes (NPID) audit, which is the largest population-based study in diabetes pregnancy. Data from NPID directly informs diabetes and maternity healthcare policy in the UK.
