Ypsomed partners with Dexcom

Simply update your Ypsomed App, no need to replace your current YpsoPump!

No more fingersticks*

More and more people with Type 1 diabetes use a CGM system instead of a conventional BGM (Blood Glucose Meter). Every five minutes, the Dexcom G6 automatically transmits your current glucose value to the Ypsomed App. In contrast to other glucose monitoring systems, it does not require any action from you such as taking blood from your finger or scanning the transmitter (which is the case with a flash glucose monitoring system).

No need to replace your YpsoPump

The system integration of the Dexcom G6 CGM system does not require a replacement of your current YpsoPump. The only thing you will have to do is to conveniently download or update your Ypsomed App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Necessary CGM system settings and, if needed, even sensor calibration will be possible directly in your Ypsomed App. If you are already familiar with the Dexcom G6 app, you will realise that the Ypsomed App will cover all the functions you are used to and will work in a very similar way to the Dexcom G6 app.

This CGM integration is planned to be available first half of 2021.

*If your glucose alerts and readings from the Dexcom G6 do not match symptoms or expectations, use a blood glucose meter to take diabetes treatment decisions.
