Small, user-friendly device

When I was 12 years old and experiencing high school for the first time, I was suddenly diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Learning about my condition was scary at first, but diabetes gave me a voice – as well as a lot of new friends! My treatment hasn’t always been perfect, but in recent times the mylife YpsoPump has made managing my condition a lot easier. It’s given me the confidence I need to continue doing all the things I love.

A pump for when you’re on the go

Like most other 23 year-olds, my schedule is jam-packed. Between work, studying at university, volunteering as a Girl Guide leader and teaching others about type 1 diabetes, my life is constantly on the go. So I needed a pump that was going to work with my busy lifestyle. Using the mylife YpsoPump has made my day-to-day life a lot easier – I can honestly say I’ve fallen in love with it!

Simple to operate from a smartphone

After my four years with a different pump had ended, I was on the lookout for something a little bit different. I first heard about the mylife YpsoPump at a diabetes support group and it immediately sounded like the pump for me.

Being able to effortlessly bolus from my phone has been a huge advantage, and it’s also really easy to update the pump through the mylife App. Since using the YpsoPump, I’ve gained a lot of freedom and independence. For example, I can now go to Girl Guides on my own which has been fantastic!

Small, user-friendly device

One of the things I love most about the YpsoPump is how user-friendly it is. The icons on the touchscreen are easy to follow making the pump highly accessible.

The YpsoPump is also compact in size and very discreet, which is especially useful for women. On top of that, the infusion set is able to rotate around depending on what I’m doing, which means I can do most activities without worrying about it.

Another big bonus is that YpsoPump is waterproof – so I really can take it anywhere!
