When running on a smartphone with Android 14 we currently observe a number of topics that may impact your experience with the mylife App.

Observations:

• Events are stored in the logbook with a time shift (depending on time zone, e.g 2 hours for users in CET zone). In this example, it may look as if they happened two hours earlier than they actually did. This applies to data imports from the mylife YpsoPump well as from connected blood glucose meters.
• When a mylife YpsoPump is connected, the app indicates that it is “connected with a time difference”. This is displayed even if the pump and the smartphone show the same current date and time.
• Due to this, the app does not show a value for Insulin on Board. Instead, three dashes are displayed (- - - ). Insulin on Board is not available for bolus suggestion calculations.
• Manual data entry is not possible for the actual time and two hours back.

Affected app installations:

• OS version: Android 14. Note that Android 14 is currently not yet officially supported. Consult our compatibility page for more information.
• mylife App versions on Android: V2.1.1 and earlier

Next steps:

Ypsomed targets a short-term resolution to the described topics above. A respective app update is in preparation. Users will be informed in-app and via the Google Play Store as soon as it is available for download.

Beim Betrieb auf einem Smartphone mit Android 14 beobachten wir derzeit eine Reihe von Themen, die Ihre Erfahrung mit der mylife App beeinflussen können.

Beobachtungen:

• Ereignisse werden im Logbuch mit einer Zeitverschiebung (je nach Zeitzone, z.B. 2 Stunden für Nutzer in der MEZ-Zone) gespeichert. In diesem Beispiel sieht es so aus, als ob die Ereignisse zwei Stunden früher stattgefunden haben, als es tatsächlich der Fall war. Dies gilt sowohl für Datenimporte aus der mylife YpsoPump als auch aus angeschlossenen Blutzuckermessgeräten.
• Wenn eine mylife YpsoPump verbunden ist, zeigt die App an, dass sie "mit einem Zeitunterschied verbunden" ist. Dies wird auch dann angezeigt, wenn die Pumpe und das Smartphone das gleiche aktuelle Datum und die gleiche Uhrzeit anzeigen.
• Aus diesem Grund zeigt die App keinen Wert für aktives Insulin an. Stattdessen werden drei Striche angezeigt (- - - ). Das aktive Insulin ist für die Berechnung von Bolusvorschlägen nicht verfügbar.
• Manuelle Dateneingabe ist nicht möglich für die aktuelle Zeit und einige Stunden zurück (wiederum je nach Zeitzone)
